Apocalypse

love

Jesus Christ, the risen ruler, loves us, forgives our sins, makes us priests, and will return gloriously as the eternal Alpha and Omega.

John 18

A different kingdom

Jesus tells Pilate His kingdom is not worldly. He affirms being a king, born to bear witness to the truth, heard by truth-seekers.

Protection

During unprecedented distress, Michael will protect his people. The faithful will awaken to eternal life, while others face disgrace.

Refuge.

God is my refuge and joy; He protects me, preserves my soul, and guides me to eternal happiness in His presence.

Sacrifice

Priests repeatedly offer sacrifices that don’t remove sins. Christ’s single sacrifice achieved eternal perfection for believers, making further sin offerings unnecessary.

Coming

After distress, cosmic signs will herald Jesus’s return in glory. He will gather his chosen, though only God knows when.

Elijah asked a widow for food during a drought; she shared her last provisions, and God miraculously sustained her food supply until rain came.

Praise.

The Lord is faithful, just to the oppressed, feeds the hungry, frees prisoners, gives sight, protects strangers, and upholds widows.

Hebrews 9

Christ entered heaven, sacrificed himself once to remove sin, and will return to bring salvation to those awaiting him.

Mark 12

giving

Jesus warned against hypocritical scribes seeking honor while exploiting others. He praised a poor widow who gave all she had, showing true generosity.

Moses urged Israel to love and obey God wholeheartedly, promising prosperity, long life, and a blessed land as rewards for faithfulness.

Praise God as a refuge, strength, and savior, expressing gratitude for protection, victories, and love for the chosen one.

Christ remains

Christ is the eternal high priest, perfect and sinless, offering himself once for all, unlike mortal priests who repeatedly offer sacrifices.

Love one another 

Jesus taught that the greatest commandments are to love God fully and love your neighbor as yourself, surpassing all sacrifices, bringing one close to God’s kingdom.

 …from the far ends of earth… God joyfully declares He will gather and lead the remnant of Israel back, comforting and guiding them safely home.

God delivered Zion from bondage, turning sorrow into joy. People rejoiced, and even others marveled at His great works.

To offer gifts and sacrifices

High priests are chosen by God to offer sacrifices, understanding human weakness. Christ was divinely appointed forever.

Let me see again 

Blind Bartimaeus begged Jesus for mercy. Despite opposition, he persisted. Jesus healed him, and his faith restored his sight..

Isaiah

The Lord’s servant suffers, offering his life for atonement, sees his heirs, fulfills God’s purpose, and justifies many by taking their faults upon himself.

Lord, we trust in your mercy. Your word is faithful, you rescue and protect those who revere you. Our hope rests in you.

Hebrews 4

Since Jesus, our sinless high priest, understands our weaknesses, let us hold firm in faith, approach God’s grace with confidence, and receive mercy and help.

 James and John ask Jesus for glorious positions. He teaches them greatness comes through service, as the Son of Man came to serve, not be served.

I prayed, gained wisdom, valued her above riches and beauty; with her, all good things and countless blessings followed.

God’s word is living, sharp, penetrating, and able to judge thoughts and intentions; nothing is hidden from His sight.

 A rich man asks Jesus how to inherit eternal life. Jesus tells him to give up his wealth. The man leaves sad, and Jesus teaches that it’s difficult for the rich to enter God’s kingdom. However, with God, all things are possible. Sacrifice for the Gospel – great rewards.

God created animals and birds from soil but none suited man. He made woman from man’s rib, uniting them.

May God bless us forever. Blessed are those who fear Him. Their family flourishes, and they prosper in peace.

Hebrews 2

Jesus, briefly made lower than angels, was crowned with glory through death, bringing many to salvation as their leader.

Mark 10

 Pharisees tested Jesus on divorce. He emphasized marriage unity. Jesus blessed children for their integrity and simplicity, saying God’s kingdom belongs to them.

Numbers

The Lord gave His Spirit to seventy elders, including Eldad and Medad, who prophesied despite not attending the Tent.

The Lord’s perfect law revives, guides, and grants wisdom. His truth is eternal, guarding from sin and error.

James

Weep, rich oppressors, for your decaying wealth. You’ve cheated laborers and ignored their cries; judgment for your greed is near.

Mark 9

Jesus taught that anyone not against Him is for Him. Avoid sin, even at great cost, to enter life.

Wisdom

The wicked plot against the virtuous, testing his endurance, faith, and claiming God will save him from shameful death.

The Lord is my help. Save me, O God. The proud seek my life, but I trust You.

James

Jealousy breeds wickedness, while heavenly wisdom is peaceful and pure. Wars arise from selfish desires. Prayers fail through selfishness.

Mark 7

Jesus travelled secretly, teaching disciples about His death and resurrection. In Capernaum, He taught that to be first, serve others.

Isaiah

The Lord opened my ear; I resisted not, endured suffering and insults, trusting His help and vindication.

I will walk in the presence of the Lord, in the land of the living.

I love the Lord, who saved me from death, sorrow, and distress. He is gracious, just, and compassionate.

James

Faith without good deeds is dead. Prove your faith through actions, not just words, to truly demonstrate belief.

Jesus is the Christ, destined to suffer. True disciples must deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him.

Moses urged Israel to observe the laws he taught, adding nothing, for they demonstrate wisdom and bring divine favor.

The just live with the Lord: they act justly, speak truth, avoid wrongdoing, honor the faithful, and stand firm forever.

All good and perfect gifts come from the unchanging Father. Embrace the truth, act on it, and practice pure, selfless religion.

They criticized Jesus’ disciples for not following traditions. Jesus condemned their hypocrisy, emphasizing inner purity over external rituals.

Joshua gathered Israel’s tribes and leaders at Shechem, urging them to choose whom to serve. The people chose to serve the Lord.
